I say ‘new’ because I know that, for the majority of the Church, Daniel’s 70 weeks are thought to contain a long break between the 69th and 70th week. I no longer adhere to that 7-year, End Time tribulation period understanding of Daniel’s 70 Weeks (The ‘Tim Lehay — Left Behind understanding). When I found this teaching, I found it to be much more convincing. For me, brother Skolfield’s understanding solves more dilemmas found elsewhere in prophecy than it creates. It also fits the whole of Scripture with very little ‘pushing’ needed to make it fit. So, for me, this understanding seems to be much closer to the proper understanding of Daniel’s 70 Weeks. I offer it for your consideration.
